Start Point Directions: Rogershill Raceway is next to the A35 dual-carriageway near to Bere Regis. Leave the A35 at the Tolpuddle junction, on the Bere Regis to Dorchester section. Follow the signs for Tolpuddle & then take the turn for Briantspuddle and you will see a sign-post for Rogershill Raceway.
Follow the access road and you will enter through a tunnel under the A35 dual-carriageway. Rogershill Raceway is part of a working farm so please take care & drive slowly. .As you enter the farm, follow the gravel track and you will pass single storey buildings on your right. Immediately after these buildings is a prominent gravel track to the right. Follow this track for 500m and you will have reached the Rotor Adventures Off-Road School
**USING YOUR OWN BIKE & EQUIPMENT**
Cost: £70.00 per person w/own bike & equipment
You are welcome to use your own motorcycle and gear. Your motorcycle must be appropriate for the activities you are undertaking, in a safe and good working order. It is recommended to utilise ‘mousses’ to prevent punctures.
Ensure your motorcycle meets current noise level restrictions of 96db
Ensure you have appropriate protective riding equipment for the activity you are undertaking, otherwise you may not be allowed to take part. It is mandatory to wear an appropriate CE marked helmet at all times when riding a motorcycle & highly recommended you wear CE marked protective off-road boots, body armour, knee protection, gloves, eye protection & clothing for the relevant activity.
HIRING AN OFF-ROAD MOTORCYCLE
Bike Hire: Yamaha WR250F + riding gear + fuel + insurance = £200.00
** You must hold a full motorcycle license to hire and be over the age of 25 years old.
Damage Waiver: You have the option to take out a Damage Waiver Insurance for £35.00 per day, to cover all and any damage costs
Insurance Restriction: You must be over 25 to hire from the Rotor Adventures fleet or provide your own road insurance
Riding Equipment: If not already done so, please provide sizes for your boots, waist, chest, helmet + your height
What You Need: Please wear ‘full length thin base layers’ for underneath your protective riding equipment. Please ensure you have additional warm clothing for inclement weather.
What is included: bike hire, fuel, third party only road insurance, full protective riding equipment + guided by an experienced Rotor Adventures guide & instructor
