About our Instructors & Guides
Rotor Adventures’ instructors and guides are all ACU Approved Enduro Coaches, first aid trained and DBS checked.
Their experience is primarily from competition in British, European and World Enduro but also World Cross Country, Trials and Extreme.
They form a unique training and guiding structure, which is centralised around the ability of the riders rather than mixing riding levels.
BOOKING AND PAYMENT
All online bookings and electronic payments are to be made via Rotor Adventures Limited through the website via the highlighted payment systems. For any payments in person, card and cash are accepted. Your booking is only confirmed once the requested deposit of full payment is received and the customer confirms they have read and accept all terms and conditions plus, receive a confirmation of payment email. All bookings are done on a first-come first-serve basis. You will receive an email within 48 hours of your confirmed event with further information, directions and T&C’s.
CANCELLATION OF A CONFIRMED BOOKING
All requests for cancellations of a confirmed booking, must be in writing and sent via email to info@rotoradventures.com. Rotor Adventures Limited will acknowledge the request within 7 days. Accepting a cancellation is at the sole discretion of Rotor Adventures Limited. The original booking will remain in place until the customer is notified by Rotor Adventures Limited of the outcome.
General Cancellation Charges
14+ days notification – 20% administration fee on each individual booking in addition to any deposit
7 – 14 days notification – 30% administration fee on each individual booking in addition to any deposit
0 – 7 days notification – 100% charge on each individual booking
During your booked experience day, if you are unable to continue for whatever reason, no refund of the booking fee will be given. If a customer has booked the incorrect experience or ability level, no refund of the booking fee will be given. All deposits to secure bookings are non-refundable.
REQUEST TO CHANGE OR TRANSFER A CONFIRMED BOOKING
All requests to change or transfer a confirmed booking, must be in writing and sent via email to info@rotoradventures.com. Rotor Adventures Limited will acknowledge the request within 7 days. Every effort will be made to accommodate the customer. Accepting to change or transfer of a confirmed booking, is at the sole discretion of Rotor Adventures Limited. The original booking will remain in place until the customer is notified by Rotor Adventures Limited of the outcome.
A maximum of one (1) change or transfer may be accepted by Rotor Adventures Limited. The customer must redeem any changes or transfers within a period of 3 months, from the date of Rotor Adventures Limited confirming acceptance of the change or transfer and receipt of respective Change & Transfer Charges.
Change & Transfer Charges
14+ days notification – 20% administration fee on each individual booking changed or transferred
7 – 14 days notification – 30% administration fee on each individual booking changed or transferred
48hrs – 7 days notification – 50% administration fee on each individual booking changed or transferred
CHANGE OR CANCELLATION OF EXPERIENCE BY ROTOR ADVENTURES LIMITED
Rotor Adventures Limited reserves the right to postpone or cancel any events at any time with good cause e.g. safety reasons, bad weather, illness, restricted access, etc. Customers will be informed by appropriate communications via email, text, social media etc. A customer may choose to either transfer the booking to another event if available or request a full refund.
INSURANCES
Personal Accident Insurance
Rotor Adventures Limited does not provide any customer with Personal Accident Insurance. As a potentially high-risk activity the customer may wish to consider purchasing Personal Accident Insurance before participating in their chosen event.
Road Risk Insurance
Where a customer is hiring an off-road motorcycle from the Rotor Adventures Limited motorcycle fleet and taking part in any event, where they are on the public highway in the UK or in mainland Europe, they will be covered, by 3rd party road risk insurance only.
The customer must be over 25 and hold a full UK motorcycle license or a foreign equivalent.
Customers under 25 must provide and prove appropriate insurance cover for any Rotor Adventures Limited hire motorcycle they are intending to use.
Any customer attending with their own motorcycle to take part in a Rotor Adventures Limited event, where the intention is to ride on public land or highway, must provide their own road risk insurance as per UK regulations.
Public Liability Insurance
Rotor Adventures Limited hold £5,000,000.00 of public liability insurance cover for the activities in which they are associated with.
Hire Damage Waiver
You can take out a £35.00 damage waiver to cover all damage expenses during your day when hiring from the Rotor Adventures fleet.
SAFETY
Customers participating in all events are expected to comply with all safety guidance and instructions given by Rotor Adventures Limited staff. Customers accept that riding an off-road motorcycle is classed as a dangerous activity. Off-road motorcycle activities may take place on varied natural terrain, man-made areas and altering environments, where there are continuously changing hazards and risks.
Riding an off-road motorcycle at any ability level, attracts inherent risks. Rotor Adventures Limited will take every precaution to provide a safe riding experience for their customers.
All customers are expected to take responsibility, they have booked and chosen the correct ability group. Customers must make themselves aware of all inherent risks associated with riding motorcycles off-road.
Rotor Adventures Limited’s guides and instructors reserve the right, to move any customer to what may be deemed as an appropriate training group, change to a more suitable motorcycle if available or be removed from the event for the safety of themselves and others. In the event of such a decision, Rotor Adventures Limited will not reimburse fees.
PHYSICAL CONDITION
Customers must declare any medical conditions, which may affect their health during any Rotor Adventures Limited event.
Medication, injuries or any other ailments are required to be disclosed to Rotor Adventures Limited in advance to commencing your event.
Any condition which may affect your use of an off-road motorcycle must be disclosed to Rotor Adventures Limited in advance to commencing your event.
Riding a motorcycle off-road is physically and mentally challenging. It is highly recommended customers are in a good physical condition to take part in their booked event.
USING YOUR OWN MOTORCYCLE
Customers may use their own motorcycle on Rotor Adventures limited events. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that their machine is fully prepared for the event they have booked. Unless stated, all customer motorcycles must be fitted with its standard silencer or a silencer that conforms to all legal noise requirements in force at the time of the event.
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure they have appropriate road risk insurance cover if riding on the public highway, during a Rotor Adventures Limited event. The customer is responsible for ensuring they have an adequate motorcycle license for the motorcycle engine capacity they are riding.
Any motorcycle which produces excessive noise or is poorly prepared for the booked event will not be allowed to participate. Rotor Adventures Limited reserve the right to remove any motorcycle and rider who does not comply with all responsibilities of to use their own motorcycle. No refunds and transfers will be given.
CODE OF CONDUCT
Our customers safety and enjoyment is paramount when taking part in any Rotor Adventures Limited event. We ask that customers have respect for themselves, all participants, Rotor Adventures Limited staff, guides and instructors, the event location and environment, any outside agencies, landowners, etc. involved in any of Rotor Adventures Limited’s events.
Rotor Adventures Limited reserves the right to remove customers from any event who exhibit dangerous behaviour that risks the safety to themselves, other customers and staff. Any damage caused to property, equipment, or financial loss as a result of poor and unacceptable behaviour, will be charged to the customer(s) involved.
INDEMNITY FORM
All Customers will be asked to sign an indemnity form prior to taking part in any event, which will contain the “Disclaimer” information below. All customers must accept the disclaimer content to take part in a Rotor Adventures Limited event.
DISCLAIMER
I agree to hold harmless and to keep Rotor Adventures Limited, their Employees, Guides, Instructors Officials, Servants, Representatives or Agents, Landowners, event participants and any other person using the facility or involved with the event, from and against all actions, claims, costs and demands in respect of death of or bodily injury to or damage to the property of myself howsoever caused, arising out of or in connection with my participating in all ‘Off-Road Riding Activities’ and not withstanding that the same may have been contributed to or occasioned by the negligence of the said bodies or persons, their Officials, Servants, Representatives or Agents.
I understand that should I at the time of this event be suffering from any disability or condition whether permanent, temporary or otherwise which is likely to affect prejudicially my control of the vehicle, and/or represent a danger to myself or other persons, I should/may not take part.
GIFT VOUCHERS
Gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase. Gift vouchers can be redeemed against any event offered by Rotor Adventures Limited, where the event matches the customer ability. Once an event date has been confirmed, any additional or outstanding fees will be taken by Rotor Adventures Limited, and its terms and conditions become effective.
GENERAL
Customers booking a course agree to fully comply with our Safety Regulations, Code of conduct and any other instructions given by Rotor Adventures Limited and their staff. Failure to observe these rules may lead to exclusion from the event. Any customers excluded will not receive a refund. All information is produced in good faith by Rotor Adventures Limited and is accurate at the time of production and publication.
COMPLAINTS
Rotor Adventures Limited take any form of complaint seriously. Should any participant feel that Rotor Adventures Limited have not met their obligations, it should first be brought to the attention of the Directors of Rotor Adventures Limited in writing, by email, within 7 days of completing their event, to info@rotoradventures.com

Rotor Adventures Limited are committed to maintaining and providing the highest level of quality to all their customers and continually striving to improve the service we deliver.
PRIVACY POLICY
Rotor Adventures Limited will be what’s known as the ‘Controller’ of the personal data you provide during an enquiry or booking. This means we control what happens to the data in our possession. Rotor Adventures Limited only collect the most basic personal data to include, but not limited to, name, address, email and phone number.
Rotor Adventures Limited do not keep any financial information relating to our customers
Your basic personal data is processed electronically deal with your bookings and online enquiries about our products and services. We will not collect any personal data from you we do not need to provide and oversee this service to you. All data is processed by Rotor Adventures Limited in the UK. Data is located on servers within the UK, except for data backups on Microsoft One Drive and the contact information from people who register to receive our newsletter. This information is stored and processed by Microsoft and MailChimp outside the EU. However, both comply with EU-US Privacy Shield.
Rotor Adventures Limited will not share your data with any of our partners. No 3rd party has access to your personal data unless you specifically agree to this sharing of your data in advance. Rotor Adventures Limited have a Data Protection regime in place to oversee the effective and secure processing of your personal data.
Data collected when a client signs up to receive a regular newsletter / bulletin – data will be processed by us using MailChimp. The data will only be used to send out the newsletter and the client will be able to unsubscribe at any time via MailChimp. Data will be deleted when users unsubscribe If at any point you believe the information we process on you is incorrect you can request to see this information and have it corrected or deleted.
SOCIAL MEDIA
Communication, engagement and actions taken through external social media platforms that this website and its owners participate on are custom to the terms and conditions as well as the privacy policies held with each social media platform respectively.
Users are advised to use social media platforms wisely and communicate / engage upon them with due care and caution in regard to their own privacy and personal details. This website nor its owners will ever ask for personal or sensitive information through social media platforms and encourage users wishing to discuss sensitive details to contact them through primary communication channels such as by telephone or email.
